Mission Mangal 8th day collection: Released on 15 Aug 2019, Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal had a big extended opening week at the Indian Box Office.

Released on 15 Aug 2019, Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal had a superb extended opening week at the domestic box office. The film has exceeded all expectations to cross 125 crore mark in the first week.

The film has received mixed reviews from the critics but the audience is loving it and the big numbers is a clear proof. Directed by Jagan Shakti, the film recorded the second-highest opening day of 2019 with the collection of 29.16 crores. It also becomes the highest opener for Akshay Kumar beating Gold (25.5 crores).

After a huge opening, the film witnessed regular drop on Friday and collected 17.28 crores It witnessed good growth on Saturday (23.58 crores) and Sunday (27.54 crores) to end the extended opening weekend with the collection of 97.56 crores.

After a big opening weekend, the film witnessed a drop of 48.44% on Monday and collected 8.91 crores. It continues to hold well on weekdays and collected 7.92 crores on Tuesday and 6.84 crores on Wednesday.

As per early estimates, Mission Mangal 8th day collection is around 6.6 crores. The first week (8 days) total of the film stands at 127+ crores. 

With the collection of 127+ crores, Mission Mangal is now the sixth-highest grosser for Akshay Kumar. With no big release this week, Akshay Kumar starrer is expected to hold well this week as well. I am expecting it to earn 40+ crores in this week. The film has a good chance to become Akshay Kumar’s first 200 crore grosser.

The total budget of Mission Mangal is around 100 crores including the production, promotion and advertising cost. It is already a hit as it earned the required 125 crores.
