Well the fever of Chennai Express and OUATIMD is still on and in next two days we have something really special from John Abraham and company. Madras Cafe is third big release of this August after Chennai Express and OUATIMD.
John Abraham and Shoojit Sircar who has delivered one of the best movies of last year with Vicky Donar are back again and this time its gonna be a socio-political thriller. It is believed that the movie revolves around assassination of Indian Prime Minister Mr. Rajeev Gandhi.
Although the trailer has received a fairly good response and sensible movie lovers are eagerly waiting for the movie release, it seems quite improbable that the movie will fare good at Box Office.
Madras Cafe has many issues which may limit its success at Box office. First and the foremost thing is that the movie has no entertainment value and is gonna be rejected by the masses. As far as Multiplex audience is concerned, the film may be accepted at this level but we can’t accept it to have a really great opening there also.
Another problem that the movie can face is that Chennai Express and OUATIMD are still going strong at Box Office and with much hyped Satyagraha releasing next week it is really difficult for a movie to survive.

Madras Cafe First day Collections : 4 to 6 crores
Madras Cafe Second day Collections : 4 to 6 crores
Madras Cafe First weekend Collections : 14 to 16 crores
Madras Cafe First week Collections : 24 to 26 crores
Madras Cafe lifetime Collections : 28 to 30 crores
