After a record-breaking box office run at the China box office, Aamir Khan’s Dangal continues its terrific run at the worldwide box office. The film which was recently released in Hong Kong debuted at number two on Thursday. It witnessed a superb growth on Friday and Saturday. On Saturday, the movie hit the top spot beating all other releases.
Just like China, the trend is looking exceptional. The movie saw almost 100% growth on Saturday and earned HK$ 1.55 m. Aamir Khan has a huge fan following in Hong Kong and his last four releases, PK, Dhoom 3 and 3 Idiots have performed exceptionally well in the country. The movie is receiving positive reviews and the word of mouth of the audience is also positive. The screen count is expected to increase from next week.
