Dangal has refused to slow down even after a record-breaking opening weekend. On its 8th day, it registered an occupancy of around 40% in the morning shows. As expected, the movie witnessed tremendous growth as the day progressed. The occupancy in the evening shows was as high as 70% in most north Indian centres. Such a big turn around in the second week is very rare these days as most of the movies bombed after a good first week.

It has beaten 3 Idiots, PRDP and Happy New Year’s lifetime collection to become the 8th highest grosser of all time. Dangal is Aamir Khan’s 4th movie to cross 200 Crore mark. He has now equalled with Salman Khan who also has four 200 Crore grossers to his name.
