Future Stars of Bollywood: Best Debutantes of 2016- Sayyeshaa
Sayyeshaa

Sayyeshaa made her Bollywood debut in Ajay Devgn’s ambitious movie Shivaay. The movie performed well at the box-office and got good reviews from the critics too. Even though Sayyeshaa did not get much screen space, it was enough to prove that this girl has got some talent. I can’t wait to see more of her in Bollywood in the future.

2. Harshvardhan Kapoor

Future Stars of Bollywood: Best Debutantes of 2016- Harshvardhan
Harshvardhan Kapoor

Anil Kapoor’s son Harshvardhan was lucky enough to make his debut under the guidance of an ace director like Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Mirzya performed below average as opposed to the expectations from the movie, but we saw a certain spark in Junior Anil Kapoor. His eyes were full of emotions and I think he can do wonders if polished well.

3. Pooja Hegde

Future Stars of Bollywood: Best Debutantes of 2016- Pooja
Pooja Hegde

With Mohenjo Daro, Pooja proved that she is here to stay. She looked absolutely mind-blowing thoroughout the movie and managed to pull off every side of her character. She did quite well considering that this was her debut film and I am hoping to see a much-better performance in the future.

4. Abrar Zahoor

Future Stars of Bollywood: Best Debutantes of 2016- Abrar
Abrar Zahoor

Model-turned-actor Abrar made his debut with Neerja. It takes guts to play a negative role at the start of an acting career, let alone in a debut film. But Abrar did complete justice to his role and totally looked his part as terrorist Zayd Safarini. He will be seen in Pashmina soon.

5. Ritika Singh

Future Stars of Bollywood: Best Debutantes of 2016- Ritika
Ritika Singh

Ritika is a professional MMA fighter as well as an actress and she was the perfect choice for boxing-based film Saala Khadoos. While working with a much senior actor Madhavan, Ritika did not let this fact affect her performance. She stole the show with her portrayal of the stubborn boxer. Her acting was believable and she left a really good impression among all the viewers.

6. Diljit Dosanjh

Diljit Dosanjh

The Punjabi munda Diljit made his debut with Udta Punjab. The singer-actor has already done some Punjabi films and it was quite evident that he has aquainted himself well with acting. Jim did three films in 2015 but Neerja was his first commercial film that released on the big screen. He gave a stellar performance as Khalil, the angry and violent terrorist. He was so into his character that no one can say that this was his debut. Jim has also been featured in Forbes India 30 list for his contribution to Indian theater.

Sanya played the role of Babita Phogat in Dangal and did it so marvellously that her acting stays in your mind lobg after leaving the theater. She performed amazingly in the ring as well as outside it. She is going to have a bright future in Bollywood.

Ayushmann Khurrana’s brother Aparshakti also made his debut with Dangal. He played the role of Aamir’s nephew Omkar in the sweetest manner. Even superstar Rajinikanth went on record to praise his performance.

Special Mention-

Fatima Sana Shaikh

Future Stars of Bollywood: Best Debutantes of 2016- Fatima
Fatima Sana Shaikh

Even though Dangal wasn’t Fatima’ debut film, this was the first film in which she had a lead role. Her portrayal of Geeta Phogat was so good that I am sure this movie is going to change her life from now on. She is definitely going to be a big star in the future.
