Box office prediction: 2.0 to earn this much amount on the first day

Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 has finally released today with huge expectations. Here’s a look at the box office prediction of the film.

The biggest film of the Indian cinema 2.0 has finally hit the big screens today. Starring the two biggest superstars of the country Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, 2.0 is the widest Indian release of all time. The film is released on 7500 screens across the country. The expectations are huge and trade experts believe that 2.0 will be a big money-spinner at the box office. The early reports are good and it is expected to take an earth-shattering opening at the box office.

The biggest question is, will 2.0 break Bahubali 2’s opening day box office record? Bahubali 2 took a humongous opening and earned 121 crores (all versions) on its opening day. It earned 41 crores from the Hindi version only.

Trade experts believe that 2.0 will challenge the opening day record of Bahubali 2. My opinion is different. I believe that the film will earn around 110 crores on its opening day. The Hindi version of the film will earn around 28 crores.

After the big opening, the movie will remain strong over the first weekend. If the audience accepts it then 100+ crores opening weekend is certainly on the cards. Talking about the lifetime numbers, the Hindi version of 2.0 has the potential to earn 300 crores.

2.0 will become the highest opening day grosser for Akshay Kumar. It will beat the opening day collection of his previous films like Gold, Singh Is Blling and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.

2.0 is a sequel to 2010 film Robot. Directed by Shankar, the movie stars Akshay Kumar, Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson and Adil Hussain. Made on a budget of 550 crores, 2.0 is the most expensive film of the Indian cinema. It features never-seen-before VFX.
