Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2 has completed its extended opening week at the box office. Released on April 14, 2022, the movie has created history in its opening week, breaking several box office records. While the Prashanth Neel directional has grossed Rs 750 Crore worldwide, it’s the Hindi version that witnessed astonishing numbers.
In its extended week (8 days), KGF Chapter 2 (Hindi) collected Rs 268.63 Crore at the domestic box office. these are just insane numbers. The movie is now the 13th highest grossing Hindi movie of all time beating biggies like RRR, The Kashmir Files, Simmba, Kick, and Chennai Express. KGF Chapter 2 beats the lifetime collection of RRR (Rs 255.20 Crore) in just eight days.
In its first week KGF 2 (Hindi) created several box office records like highest opening day grosser, highest opening weekend grossed, fastest to Rs 100 Crore, fastest to Rs 200 Crore, fastest to Rs 250 Crore, and more.

With Shahid Kappor’s Jersey releasing on April 22, KGF Chapter 2 screen count will drop. However, the numbers won’t get affected much. One can expect KGF Chapter 2 (Hindi) to cross Rs 300 Crore in the second weekend itself.
