Baaghi 3 second day box office collection: After a good opening, Baaghi 3 witnesses a slight drop on Saturday (day 2).

Baaghi 3 box office collection: Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Baaghi 3 is not having a best of times at the box office. After a decent opening, the film witnesses a slight drop in collections on Saturday. The drop was expected in mass centres but the problem is that major multiplexes witnessed a 5% drop on Saturday. As per our estimates, Baaghi 3 second day collection would be around Rs 16 crore. This is an alarming sign for the film.

As expected, Baaghi 3 is performing well in mass centres. However, it is rejected in metros and multiplexes. Released on 4400 screens, Tiger Shroff starrer got off to an average opening as it collected Rs 17.5 crore on its first day. The opening was decent but the expectations were huge. Trade experts were expecting a minimum Rs 20 crore opening from the film. Baaghi 2 released in 2018 got off to a Rs 25+ crore opening.

Another problem for Baaghi 3 is that Corona Virus scare is also affecting it. The audience looks reluctant to come out of their home to watch the movie in theatres. Moreover, the initial reports are also negative. The critics’ reviews are negative.

Overall, the things are not looking good for Tiger Shroff and his team. The total collection of the film after two days stands at Rs 33+ crore. This is not a bad total but the trending is poor. The film should cross Rs 20 crore mark today. Another poor day and it is all over for the film. The film has the advantage of Holi holiday on Tuesday but it would be of no use if this kind of trend continues.

Baaghi 3 budget and economics

The budget of Baaghi 3 is around Rs 120 crore. It needs to cross Rs 160 crore mark to become a box office hit. Well, with the current trend it would be difficult for the film to even cross Rs 100 crore mark.
