As expected, Shahrukh Khan’s Fan is off to a good opening at the domestic Box Office. Released on 3500 screens across the country, the movie has an excellent opening in multiplexes and metros with an average occupancy of around 50% to 55% in the morning shows. The occupancy in mass centers and single screens was low because the movie is not a typical masala potboiler. Late Evening and Nights Shows
The WOM from the audience has been on the positive side. The reviews from critics have been good and it seems that the movie will show good growth in coming days. It a good sign for SRK as his last three movies hasn’t been received well by critics and audience.
Early estimates suggest that Fan first day Box Office collection will be more than 20 crores. The final numbers will hugely depend on how the movie perform in the late evening and nights shows. It would be interesting to see if it can beat the opening day collection of Dilwale (21 crores).
