After a superb opening week with the collection of 96 crores, Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha has started its second week on a positive note. Despite the release of three new movies, TEPK holds well on its second Friday. As per the latest reports coming, the movie has entered the elite 100 crore club.

The movie had a fair start as it recorded 15% occupancy in the morning shows. The occupancy was similar to Thursday. It recorded good growth in the noon shows as the overall occupancy touches 25%. As expected, the movie saw good growth in the evening and night shows especially in metro cities. T

As per early estimates, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha earned around 4.2 crores on its second Friday. The movie has entered elite 100 crore club. TEPK is Akshay Kumar’s fifth consecutive 100 crore film after Airlift, Rustom, Housefull 3 and Jolly LLB 2. It is also the fastest 100 crore film for Akshay Kumar.
Talking about films of 2017, TEPK is seventh 100 crore film of 2017. It is Akshay Kumar’s second 100 crore film of this year. The trend is looking positive and we can expect the movie to beat the lifetime collection of Raees (138 crores). It all depends on how much growth the movie will see on Saturday and Sunday.
