The Shaukeens as expected got off to a average start at domestic Box Office. Starring Akshay Kumar, Lisa Haydon, Anupan Kher, Annu Kapoor and Piyush Mishra the movie was released today on around 1900 screens.
The movie has created quite a good buzz before its release because of its foot tapping music, refreshing trailer and unique starcast.
The movie opened to a decent occupancy of 30% across the country. The occupancy in multiplexes was good in morning as well as evening shows. Single screens and mass centres also saw decent footfalls with occupancy ranging from 35% to 50% in morning and evening shows.
The Shaukeens should collect around 6 crores on its opening day as per the early estimates. The reviews has been mixed from critics and audience.
