The first week collection of Thappad is higher than Kangana Ranaut’s Panga but lower than Deepika Padukone’s Chaapaak. We are comparing because all of them are women-centric films.

Day 1  3.08
Day 2  5.05
Day 3  6.54

The budget of Thappad is around Rs 25 crore. It will be considered hit if it collects Rs 30+ crore. However, the problem here is that Baaghi 3 is releasing today. Thappad will face a big reduction in screens It would be difficult for the film to attract the audience to the theatres.
