Baaghi 3 First Day Collection Prediction: Set For A Bumper Opening

Baaghi 3 box office collection: Tiger Shroff starrer action-thriller Baaghi 3 to open big, should collect Rs 25+ crore on the first day.

Baaghi 3 is one of the most awaited movies of 2020. The reason being the blockbuster success of last to films of the franchise. Tiger Shroff is unarguably the best action hero in Bollywood and with Baaghi 3, he has raised his bar. The trailer is a clear indication that the fans will witness some never seen before action sequence in the film. The film is set for a big opening if advance booking reports are pre-release buzz is taken on consideration.

Baaghi 3 Advance Booking Report

The film has a very good advance despite being a non-holiday release. Releasing on around 4000 screens, Baaghi 3 has accumulated Rs 9+ crore in advance booking. This is a very good number as the film is a massy entertainer. Mass centres and single screens see on the spot bookings. Baaghi 2 released in 2018 collected Rs 25.25 crore on its opening day (Good Friday). That film had an advance of Rs 7 crore.

Baaghi 3 Box Office Prediction: Pre-release buzz

Baaghi 3 is making the right noise before release. The trailer has received mixed reviews but it doesn’t matter as it is an action film. The songs of the movie, Dus Bahane 2.0, Do You Love Me, Bhankas, have worked well and already topping the charts. The film has been promoted well to maintain the pre-release buzz. Overall, the pre-release buzz is quite high for a big opening at the box office.

Baaghi 3: Positives and Negatives

1) Huge buzz and good release date: The movie has created a strong pre-release buzz thanks to power-packed trailer. A big opening is definitely on cards as there is no competition from holdover releases. The film has more than two weeks to rule the box office until Sooryavanshi arrives on 24 Jan 2020.

2) Franchise factor: Baaghi 3 is the third instalment of the blockbuster Baaghi franchise. The last two films Baaghi (75+ crore) and Baaghi 2 (164+ crore) were huge hits at the box office.

1) Mediocre Content: Trailer clearly suggests that the film is solely dependent on Tiger Shroff’s action. If the content fails to click then we will see a big drop in the numbers once the initial euphoria dies.

Baaghi 3 First Day Collection Prediction

Baaghi 3 is the solo Bollywood release of the week. With no competition, Sajid Nadiadwala will ensure that it will get a big release on 3000+ screens. If this happens then expect a mammoth opening.

Considering the above positives and negatives, I am expecting Baaghi 3 to take a solid opening of Rs 25+ crore. It will beat Tanhaji to become the biggest opening day grosser of 2020.

Baaghi 3 Lifetime Collection Prediction

Baaghi 3 is an action film mounted on a grand scale. It has a mass appeal and will do wonders especially in mass centres and small cities. It is a solo release of the week with no competition from holdover releases. Even if it turns out a poor film, 100 crore is a sure shot number it will achieve.

If accepted by the audience, Baaghi 3 has a good chance to enter the 200 crore club. Remember the last film of the franchise, Baaghi 3 collected Rs 164+ crore.
