Released on around 1400 screens, Jawaani Jaaneman had a pretty decent opening as it collected Rs 3.24 crore. Decent growth on Saturday has given it a chance to be in a race. The film would be looking for some more growth on Sunday. A 15+ crore opening weekend would be a good number.
The reviews are mixed but there is a sort of positivity working in favour of the film. Saif has made a comeback in the comedy genre after the failure of films like Laal Kaptaan, Rangoon etc. His performance in the film is getting positive remarks from the critics. Pooja Bedi’s daughter Alaya Furniturewala has made her Bollywood debut with the film.
Jawaani Jaaneman economics
Coming to Jawaana Jaaneman economics, the estimated budget of the film is around Rs 40 crore. It will be considered a box office hit if it crosses Rs 50 crore and will be considered average if it crosses Rs 40 crore.
2020 is turning out a good year for Saif Ali Khan. After the super success of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Jawaani Jaaneman is performing well at the box office. He has some very good movies in his kitty like Go Goa Gone 2 and Bunty and Babli 2.
