Ayan Mukherjee’s epic fantasy drama ‘Brahmastra’ continues to churn big money at the box office despite mixed reviews. Released on Sep 9, 2022, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer high-budget action-adventure movie has impressed the viewers. It earned Rs 36 Crore on its opening day, registering the biggest opening for a Bollywood movie post-pandemic. Though the movie opened to mixed reviews from critics, viewers are loving it and that’s the reason it collected Rs 173+ Crore in its first week.

Brahmastra Crosses Rs 200 Crore Mark

After a superb opening week, Brahmastra continues its glorious run in the second week. It earned Rs 10.6 Crore on its second Friday. On its 9th day, Ranbir starrer recorded stupendous growth and earned Rs 15+ Crore. Now, on the 10th day of its release, Brahmastra has crossed Rs 200 Crore mark. As per the reports coming, Brahmastra earned around Rs 16.5 Crore on its 10th day. Thus, the total collection of the movie after 10 days stands at Rs 215.7 Crore (nett).

Second Bollywood movie of 2022 to enter the Rs 200 Crore club

Brahmastra is only the second Bollywood movie of 2022 to cross the Rs 200 Crore mark at the Indian box office. The first one is The Kashmir Files (Rs 252.9 Crore).

Ranbir’s second movie to achieve this feat

Brahmastra is Ranbir’s second movie to cross Rs 200 Crore at the Indian box office. The first one is Sanju (Rs 342.53 Crore).

Produced on an estimated budget of Rs 410 Crore (US$51 million), it is one of the most expensive Indian films and the most expensive outright Hindi film at the time to date. Brahmastra has grossed Rs 350 Crore worldwide. However, it has still a long way to go to emerge as a clean hit at the box office.
