Padmaavat 7th day collection: Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film crosses 150 crores mark at the domestic box office.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic period drama film ‘Padmaavat’ is unstoppable at the domestic box office. Released on 25 Jan amidst a lot of tension, the movie has been on a glorious run since the first day. After a huge extended opening weekend with the collection of 114 crores, the movie is holding well on weekdays. It recorded just 28% drop in numbers on Monday and since then it is rock-steady on weekdays. On Wednesday, the movies earned around 13 crores. After The total collection of the movie after seven days stands at 156 crores.
These are big numbers for a film released amidst huge controversy. Moreover, the ticket rates are have been slashed on weekdays which has also impacted the numbers. In last seven days, Padmaavat has lost around 35 to 40 crores because of no release in MP, Rajasthan and Gujarat. Here is a look at the day-wise collection of the film:

The film has refused to slowdown ever since its release. It has literally set the box office on fire. With the current pace, we are expecting it to enter 200 crore club by the end of the second weekend. The movie will look to earn at least 250 crores in its lifetime.
Padmaavat: A record bearer
With the collection of 156 crores, Padmaavat is now the second highest grossing movie for Ranveer Singh. Bajirao Mastani takes the first position with the lifetime collection of 184 crores. Talking about Deepika, Padmaavat is her 8th movie to cross 100 crores. Padmaavat is now her fourth highest grossers after Chennai Express, Happy New Year and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
Padmaavat stars Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. It showcases the story of Rani Padmini, Khilji and Rawal Ratan Singh. The movie has received tremendous response from audience and critics.
