Katti Batti Box Office Analysis
First thing first,’Katti Batti‘ is the last hope for Imran Khan. His last four movies were super flop at Box Office and we just can’t expect anything special from him. The movie is directed by Nikhil Advani who also has a terrible past record. All this means that success of ‘Katti Batti’ depends solely on Kangana Ranaut who is currently the new queen of Bollywood.
Talking about the hype and buzz, the trailer was released on 14 June 2015 and created good hype and buzz. It was appreciated by one and all and it looked like the movie will do wonders at Box Office. But, as the time progresses, the hype and buzz keeps on dying, thanks to poor marketing and long gap between trailer and movie release date. The music is average and hasn’t been able to generate the required buzz before movie release.
‘Katti Batti’ will get a decent start a Box Office specially in multiplexes. Since, the movie is a rom-com, we can’t expect it to make big in mass centers.
After a decent start, all will depend on content much like Kangana’s previous movies ‘Queen‘ and ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’. If the content turns out to be good then there is no stopping for ‘Katti Batti’.
