Box Office: Shivaay 19th Day Collection, Struggling To Enter The 100 Crore Club

After a good opening week with the collection of 70 crores, Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay is holding well in the second week. On its second Friday, the movie witnessed a usual drop and earned 4.61 crores. It once again started to pick up due to the weekend effect. On its second Saturday, the movie witnessed a decent growth and collected 5.4 crores. Shivaay 9th Day Collection: Second Saturday Occupancy Report

Shivaay witnessed a good growth in occupancy on second Saturday. It opened to occupancy of around 20% in the morning shows. The movie witnessed decent growth in the noon and evening shows with occupancy being 25% to 30%. In the night shows, it performed well in metros and multiplexes. The movie has also started to pick in metros and multiplexes which underperformed in the first week. Shivaay is still going strong in mass belts like CI, Rajasthan, UP and Gujarat.

Shivaay 9th Day Collection: Second Saturday Official Collection and Way Ahead

As per official figures shared by Taran Adarsh, Shivaay 9th day collection is 5.4 crores. The total nine days collection Shivaay stands at 80.42 crores. It has beaten the lifetime collection of Baaghi and Neerja to become the 8th highest grossing movie of 2016.

Shivaay will continue to hold well for this week as there is no big release. The movie is expected to cross the 100 crore mark by the end of this week. It is a big budget film and needs 115+ crores to be in a safe zone. Considering the current pace, we expect Shivaay to fall below this mark.  (Shivaay Box Office Analysis)
