Shahrukh Khan’s latest release Fan is struggling at the domestic Box Office. The movie failed to capitalize on the big opening (19.2 crores) and has been showing disappointing numbers. On Monday, the movie witnessed a huge drop of 65% compared to the opening day. With the collection of 6.05 crores on the fourth day, Fan now stands at the total collection of 58.4 crores. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh looked disappointed as he tweeted:
#Fan Fri 19.20 cr, Sat 15.40 cr, Sun 17.75 cr, Mon 6.05 cr. Total: ₹ 58.40 cr. India biz. DISAPPOINTING!

Fan Box Office Collection: Day-Wise Report
Fan 1st Day Box Office Collection: 19.2 crores (Highest opening day of 2016)
Fan 2nd Day Box Office Collection: 15.4 crores
Fan 3rd Day Box Office Collection: 17.75 crores
Fan 1st weekend collection: 52.35 crores (Highest opening weekend of 2016)
Fan 4th Day Box Office Collection: 6.05 crores
Despite being the best Shahrukh Khan movie is last four years, Fan proved to be a major disappointment at the Box Office. The movie has received good reviews but the lack of universal appeal has certainly cost it big time at the Box Office.
If continues to perform like this in coming days, Fan may find it difficult to recover its budget of 105 crores. It would be interesting to see the lifetime collection of the movie. Interestingly, all Shahrukh Khan movies released in last five years have crossed 100 crores and Fan may struggle to achieve this figure.
