John Abraham, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Dishoom had a good second week at the domestic Box Office. After a good opening week with the collection of crores, the movie holds well and brought in around 14 crores in the second week.
Dishoom was benefitted because the new releases performed poorly and haven’t been able to post any competitiveness. With the collection of 14 crores in the second week, Dishoom now stands at the total collection of 67.5 crores. With the collection of 67.5 crores, Dishoom is now the 8th highest grosser of 2016.
With Rustom and Mohenjo Daro released today, Dishoom is expected to end its Box Office journey by the end of this week with the lifetime collection of 70 crores. The movie would have posted a better total if it wasn’t affected by heavy rains which has certainly reduced the final numbers by 5 crores.
Made on a budget of around 70 crores, the movie has turned out to be a profitable venture for the makers as well as distributors. Dishoom is Varun Dhawan’s 7th hit in a row since his debut in SOTY (2012).
