A Flying Jatt 1st Day Collection: Tiger Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer ‘A Flying Jatt’ had an average opening, collected around 7 crores on the first day.
The expectations were good from ‘A Flying Jatt’, but the movie got off to an average opening at the domestic Box Office. Released on around 2300 screens across the country, the movie earned only 7.1 crores on its opening day. It was a partial holiday in the country due to Janmashtami celebrations and ideally the movie should have taken a double digit opening. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted:
#AFlyingJatt Thu [Janmashtami] ₹ 7.10 cr. India biz.

On the first day, the movie was affected by heavy rains in Gujarat, Bihar and some circuits of north India. Moreover, the reviews negative reviews and mixed WOM has also affected the business on the first day. The overall occupancy on the first day was around 30% which is less than Tiger Shroff’s last two releases, Heropanti (6.63 crores) and Baaghi (11.94 crores).
The opening hasn’t been good and the movie now needs to show solid growth from Friday. A good opening weekend would be enough to put it on the driving seat as the budget (50 crores) of the movie is not huge.
