Yes, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer mega-budget dance film is a box office flop. The film has exhausted its box office run and the lifetime collection of Rs 75 crore. Street Dancer 3D day-wise box office
After an average opening with the collection of Rs 10.26 crore, Varun Dhawan’s film saw decent growth over the weekend. It collected Rs 13.1 crore on Saturday followed by huge growth on Sunday (Rs 17.76 crore). The film had a pretty good opening weekend with the collection of Rs 41+ crore.
After a decent opening weekend, Varun Dhawan‘s film witnessed a drop of 55% on Monday and collected just Rs 4.65 crore. It continued to drop on weekdays to end the first week with the collection of Rs 56.77 crore.
In the second week, Remo D’Souza’s dance film faced strong competition from Saif Ali Khan’s Jawaani Jaaneman. Saif’s film collected Rs 20+ crore in the first week. On the other hand, Street Dancer 3D manages to make only Rs 14.59 crore in the second week. Thus it witnessed around 75% drop in the collection in the second week. The lifetime collection of Street Dancer 3D is less than its prequel ABCD 2. Released in 2015, ABCD 2 collected Rs 106 crore in its lifetime. The first film ABCD was a super hit with no big stars. It collected 40+ crore at the box office.
