On the first day, the movie has been rejected by the mass centers as the occupancy at single screens was as low as 10%. Metros cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore reported better occupancy compared to the mass centers. The average occupancy on the first day was around 20% which is too low for the big names associated with the movie.

As per official producer figures shared by Taran Adarsh, Rangoon first day collection is 6.07 crores. It has received mixed reviews from critics and audience and it seems that it will struggle in the coming days as well.

Rangoon First Day Collection: 6.07 crores

Rangoon is Vishal Bharadwaj’s most expensive film till date. Made on a budget of around 80 crores, it needs to earn 80+ crores to be in a safe zone. Well, considering the kind of opening Rangoon has got, it seems difficult for it to even cross 40 crores mark. The first weekend collections will be crucial in deciding the Box Office fate of the film.
