Kalank 5th day box office collection: After a good opening day, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer Kalank struggled throughout the opening weekend, earns 65 crores in 5 days.
This was expected after negative word of mouth and poor reviews. Released with huge expectations, Karan Johar magnum opus Kalank has failed terribly at the box office after a very good opening. The film continues to struggle over the weekend, which clearly signifies that it has been rejected by the audience.
Kalank 5th day box office collection: Struggle Continues
Kalank continues to struggle as it even fails to register some growth on Sunday. Early reports suggest that Kalank 5th day box office collection would be 10-11 crores. The total collection of the movie after four days would be around 65 crores.
Kalank box office journey: poor opening weekend
After registering the biggest opening of 2019 with the collection of 21.6 crores, the movie witnessed a massive drop on the second day (Thursday) and earned 11.45 crores. On its third day, the movie remained flat and earned 11.6 crores.
On the fourth day, Kalank witnessed another big drop and collected just 9.75 crores. Now, on Sunday, it earned around 10 crores. The first weekend total which should have been around 90 crores, stands at just 65 crores.
Now, there is nothing left for Kalank as it will crash today. With Avengers Endgame releasing on Friday, 26 April, it will be all over for Kalank. It will wrap up its box office journey within two weeks.
Kalank 5th Day Box Office Collection: Budget & Economics
The total budget of Kalank including the promotion and advertising cost is around 150 crores. The movie needs to cross 170 crores to be declared a hit at the box office. This number is out of the question now.
