The highly-anticipated ‘Thor: Love And Thunder’ is finally arriving in theatres on Friday, July 8, 2022. It is the fourth movie of Thor series and 29th movie of MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe).

The early projections suggest that Thor: Love And Thunder is poised for a $300+ Million global opening weekend with $150+ Million coming from the US and Canada.

The movie will relish one of the biggest domestic opening weekends of 2022,  ranking above The Batman ($134 million) and somewhere in between Jurassic World: Dominion ($145 million) and Doctor Strange 2 ($185 million).

Thor: Love & Thunder is anticipated to earn at least $600 million globally in its lifetime. Here's a look at the box office numbers of previous three Thor movies.

The first movie of the series Thor released in 2011 garnered $181 million domestically and $450 million worldwide. It was made on a budget of $150 million.

Thor: The Dark World released in 2013 was mounted on a budget of $170 Million. Directed by Alan Taylor, it raked in $206 million in North America and $644 million globally.

The third movie Thor: Ragnarok earned $315 million domestically and over $850 million worldwide. Mounted on a budget of $180 million, it is the highest grossing Thor movie.
