Another week and another movie fell in prey of piracy sites. The new Telugu release of the week, Teja Sajja’s Zombie Reddy has joined the list of movies that have been leaked online. The popular piracy websites Tamilrockers and Movierulz leaked the full movie in HD within hours of its theatrical release. The action-thriller movie based on COVID-19 pandemic is now available for free download in HD on several piracy sites and Telegram channels.
Zombie Reddy is earning positive reviews from critics. The audiences are also applauding it. Despite being a low budget movie, Zombie Reddy is off to a decent opening as it earned around Rs 20 crore on its first day. However, its leak is affecting the box office numbers and is a worrying sign for the producers.

The Teja Sajja starrer is touted to be first Telugu Zombie movie. Zombie Reddy marks Teja’s first movie as the lead actor. He made his debut in Telugu cinema as a child actor at the age of two in Chiranjeevi’s Choodalani Vindi (1998).
The movie is directed by Prasanth Varma. Raj Sekhar Varma has produced the movie under his production company Apple Trees Studios. Zombie Reddy also stars Anandhi, Harsha Vardhan, Daksha Nagarkar, Raghu Babu, Hari Teja, Getup Srinu, Prudhvi Raj, Raghu Karumanchi, Kireeti Damaraju and Annapoorna star in supporting roles.
