While trade experts were expecting a minimum 25 crore opening, the movie underperforms. As per Taran Adarsh, Zero first day box office collection is just 20.14 crores.

This is an average opening for a film which releases with huge craze and expectations.  Comparing it with other films of 2018, the first-day collection of Zero is less than Baaghi 2 and Gold.

Zero first day box office collection: 20 crores (early estimates)

Big worries for team Zero as reviews are not in favour of the film. In fact, around 75% reviews are negative. The film has certainly failed to meet the expectations. Now, it all boils down to public reviews and reaction. Remember, Zero is an important film for Shahrukh Khan as his last few releases failed at the box office.
