After an average opening with the first day collection of 20.14 crores, Shahrukh Khan’s Zero continues to struggle over the first weekend. The film failed to gain momentum despite Christmas holidays. Zero first weekend collection: Failed to witness any growth
The expectations from this Shahrukh Khan starrer were sky high but it failed on the very first day. While the trade experts were expecting a minimum 30 crore opening, Zero managed to earn just 20.14 crores on its opening day.
The real shocker for the fans came on Saturday when the film witnessed a drop of around 10%. The film earned 18.22 crores on Saturday. On the last day of the opening weekend, Zero managed some growth but it was limited. Zero 3rd day collection is 20.71 crores.

The first weekend collection of Zero is 59.07 crores. It is the 7th highest opening weekend grosser of 2018 after Sanju, Thugs Of Hindostan, Race 3, Padmaavat, Baaghi 2, Gold (5 days) and Satyamev Jayate (5 days).
For Shahrukh Khan, Zero is 5th highest first weekend grosser in his career after Happy New Year, Chennai Express, Dilwale and Raees.
Zero 3rd day collection: Way ahead
There is no denying that the film has struggled in the first weekend. While the trade experts were expecting 100 crore weekend, the film manages to earn just 60 crores. The film has been rejected by the audience and critics.
Zero is already underperforming and will witness a huge drop after Christmas. Rohit Shetty’s Simmba is releasing on Friday. It will give a tough fight to Zero as it is one of the biggest films of the year. There is a chance that the Zero might struggle to touch 150 crore mark. Another flop for Shahrukh Khan.
