YRF’s Upcoming Movies 2022: Theatrical Release Dates Announced

YRF’s Upcoming Movies 2021, 2022: Yash Raj Films has announced its slate of movies that will release in theatres in 2021 and 2022.

One of the biggest production houses of Bollywood, YRF has unveiled its slate in a statement posted on Twitter, saying it has the “strong intent” to bring back audiences to experience films on the big screen. The announcement came soon after Maharashtra CM announced the re-opening of theatres in the state. YRF has an interesting lineup of movies. Here’s a look at YRF’s Upcoming Movies 2021, 2022

Bunty Aur Babli 2

Bunty Aur Babli 2 is a sequel to the 2005 blockbuster comedy starring Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Rani Mukherjee. The trailer of the movie launched a few days before has impressed the fans. Featuring Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Sharvari, the movie will hit the big screens on Nov 19, 2021.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar

YRF’s first release of 2022 will be Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’. The much-awaited social comedy will release on May 23, 2022. The movie also stars Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah, Deeksha Joshi, and Shalini Pandey, who is making her Bollywood debut.

Samrat Prithviraj

Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the movie is a biopic of 11th-century ruler Prithviraj Chauhan. It also stars Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood. The movie marks the acting debut of Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar. It will hit the big screens on June 3, 2022.

Shamshera

Ranbir Kapoor starrer dacoit-drama ‘Shamshera‘ is among the most awaited movies of 2022. The Karan Malhotra directional is set to release on July 22, 2022. Also starring Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt, the movie is set in the 1800s and is about a dacoit tribe who took charge in the fight for their rights and independence against the British.

Besides these, Yash Raj Films has four more movies in production. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s Tiger 3, Shahrukh and John starrer Pathan, Junaid Khan’s debut movie Maharaja and Vicky Kaushal and Manushi’s The Great Indian Family.
