While we are still waiting for the release of her first Hollywood project xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, the actress has already started working on her next International project. She will soon be seen in Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s next project and you won’t be able to recognize Deepika Padukone in stills from Majid Majidi’s next film.
Majid Majidi is one of the most celebrated filmmakers of the world. He is credited with classic movies like Children of Heaven (1997), The Color of Paradise (1999) and Baran (2001). His next project is an Indian story and it will be shot in Mumbai, Delhi, parts of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan and Kashmir. Deepika was spotted dressed as a rag-picker in a full de-glam avatar. Reportedly, casting director Honey Trehan and music director AR Rahman have also been roped in for the movie. The movie is expected to start rolling towards the end of this year of by early 2017.
