We are getting closer and closer to the release of unarguably the most awaited movie of the year, Salman Khan’s Sultan. Going by the trailer of the movie and the buzz it has created before release, everyone is expecting Sultan to have a bumper opening at the Box Office. Salman Khan and everyone associated with the movie seems to have worked really hard. So, it’s only fair to ask, will Sultan be the third 300 crores grosser of all time? or will Sultan beat PK and Bajrangi Bhaijaan to become the top Bollywood grosser of all time?

Well, everything seems to be going in favor of the movie as it is all set to become the biggest Bollywood release of all time in terms of screen count. The movie has created a tremendous buzz and with no competition at the Box Office, the movie is expected to have the widest release of all time. Apparently, Sultan will target more than 5200 screens in India, a record currently held by Aamir Khan’s PK.

Until now, only two movies have crossed the 300 crores- Bajrangi Bhaijaan and PK. Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s lifetime collection stands at a total of 320.34 crores while 3 Idiot’s lifetime collection is 340 Crore.

The only thing that may stop Sultan to cross 300 crores Salman Khan’s rape comment controversy. Salman has faced a lot of heat for his comment, people were shocked, a case was filed against him and film critic Raja Sen even went on to say that he will not be watching Sultan.
