When Shah Rukh Khan said ‘Ab Hamara Kya Hoga’ to Ranveer Singh!

Once upon a time, Shah Rukh Khan said to Ranveer Singh “Tu kyun ro raha hai, rona toh humein chahiye, ab hamara kya hoga, tu aa gaya hai industry mein!”

This happened around five years ago, when Ranveer Singh was just a newcomer in Bollywood and had made his much-impressive debut with ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ opposite Anushka Sharma. His performance was appreciated by everyone in B-Town and he even received many awards for it.

When Ranveer Singh was named as the Most Promising Newcomer- Male at the Star Screen Award 2011, it was Shah Rukh Khan hosting the show. When Ranveer came on stage to receive the award, he got a little emotional while giving his thank-you speech. That’s when Shah Rukh Khan told him “Tu kyun ro raha hai, rona toh humein chahiye, ab hamara kya hoga, tu aa gaya hai industry mein!”

Little did Shah Rukh Khan knew that a time will come when his movie and Ranveer Singh‘s movie will clash at box-office, moreover get a tough competition!

Well we all know by now how Bajirao Mastani has done a lot better than Dilwale till today. I guess Shah Rukh Khan’s statement came out to be true in some sense.
