A big update on Virgin River Season 4 is coming up. As per the report by Hollywood North, the cast and crew have started filming Virgin River season 4 in Vancouver.
Soon after the third season premiered on Netflix, What’s on Netflix reported that Virgin River season 4 had already been renewed on Netflix even before the release of the third season in July 2021. That report suggested that the filming for the fourth season would start in July or August. The reports have indeed turned out to be true as the filming started in August.
Virgin River Season 3 left its fans with some major cliffhangers. The fans are super excited for the next set of episodes. As news of filming is out now, expect Netflix to officially announce the fourth season in the coming days.
Virgin River season 4 release date
Now that the fans know that the fourth season is definitely coming, it’s the release date they would love to know about. Netflix hasn’t officially announced the fourth season yet. So, don’t expect it to make a release date announcement at least by the end of this year.
However, we can make a calculated guess about the Virgin River Season 4 release date based on the filming schedule and release pattern of the previous three seasons.
According to the Hollywood North report, Virgin River season 4 will wrap filming on Nov 30, 2021. The previous two seasons of Virgin River took around 3-4 months for filming and 6-8 months for post-production. If it follows the same schedule, expect Virgin River season 4 to arrive between May and August 2022.
