So the wait is finally over as the first look motion poster of the Dharma Productions much delayed Project ‘Ungli‘ is out.
Directed by Rensil D’Silva, the sleek, stylish, vivid drama have a impeccable starcast with Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut, Randeep Hooda, Sanjay Dutt, Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi and Neil Bhoopalam.
Talking about the movie Ransil says, “‘Ungli’ is a story about friendship and it’s a very character driven film. It’s about what happens when a gang of friends decide to take justice into their own hands.”
Karan Johar who is the producer of the movie says “Ungli is new territory for us. It is Dharma’s first film with Emraan and has a very different plot from the kind of subjects we have explored in the past. Rensil D’Silva has put his heart and soul into this one.
Here are the few highlights which we think makes it one of the awaited movies of the year.
1) Emraan and Kangana working for the first time with Dharma Productions. It’s good to see KJo is working with Emraan and Kangana who to me are the most underrated actors of Bollywood.
2) It’s a sort of comeback for Sanjay Dutt on big screen. He was last seen in Policegiri. Post Ungli, Munnabhai will be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s PK
3) I am a big fan of Randeep Hooda and Emraan Hashmi and would love to see them together again after cat and mouse game in Jannat and OUATIM.
4) It would be interesting to see the lead couple in the movie. Kangana has a list of actors here to flirt with. If Emraan is her choice then get ready for some sizzling chemistry.
Ungli Motion Poster : Analysis and Review
The motion poster looks highly interesting. The starcast of the movie is something to look out for. The motion poster has Kangana, Emraan, Randeep running holding sticks, headlight and a handy cam. The cast of the film was occupied with various other projects and it was very difficult for all of them to meet together for the shooting.
From the motion poster it is quite evident that the movie is an action thriller with some sort of revenge drama associated with it. It looks a sleek, stylish and vigilante thriller.
Ungli is slated for 28 Nov 2014 release.
