Ungli and Zid first Week Collection : Zid outshines Ungli in its first week at domestic Box Office.

November proved one of the worst month for Bollywood in 2014. We have some 10 movies released this month out of which four were big budget and starcast movies. Each and every releases of the month failed terribly at Box Office and the month end with Emraan Hasmi’s Ungli which performed way below than expectations in its first week at Box Office.

Ungli and Zid were released on 28 Nov 2014 and its surprising to know that the Zid outshines Ungli at domestic Box Office. Made on a budget of around 35 crores, Ungli got an average start at Box Office and managed to collect only 12.5 crores in its opening weekend. The movie further crashed on weekdays and ends up with poor first week figures of 19 crores.

Zid on the other hand managed to remain steady at Box Office. Despite having a new starcast and low budget, the movie has battled well with Ungli and managed to earn 14 crores in its first week. Made on a budget of 15 crores, Zid should be able to recover its production cost in its second weekend.

One more disaster for Emraan after Raja Natwarlal, may be its time for him to get back to basics and do a film or two with Bhatt camp. What say guys??
