With just three days left for the release of Tubelight, the excitement of Salman Khan’s fans is at its peak. One of the most awaited movies of the year, Tubelight will hit the big screens on 23 June 2017. The movie has been in news for the good reasons ever since it has been announced. Just like every Salman Khan movie released in the last 10 years, Tubelight has created tremendous buzz. It is expected to take good opening at the box office. Tubelight Budget

The makers haven’t made any announcement regarding the cost and budget of the movie. If media reports are to be believed then the total budget of Tubelight is around 100 crores which include around 80 crores production cost and 20 crores for printing, advertising and promotion.

Tubelight Screen Count

The movie was about to release on around 10,000 screens worldwide. Film trade analyst and reviewer Ramesh Bala tweeted that the movie is releasing in 50+ countries on around 9500-10000 screens. A recent tweet by Taran Adarsh clarifies that Tubelight is not releasing in China and Pakistan.

Talking about the number of screens in India, Tubelight is releasing on 4350 screens. It will be the Bollywood release of all in India beating Dangal and Sultan which were released on 4250 and 4350 screens respectively.

Tubelight Box Office Economics

Tubelight is a hugely popular film for the makers even before release. DNA reports suggest that the all-India distribution rights of the movie have been sold to NH Studioz for Rs 132 crore. An unnamed Chinese company has acquired the distribution rights for Rs 75 crores.

With music rights (20 crores), satellite rights (50+ crores, expected), overseas rights yet to be added, it seems that Tubelight will emerge as a money minting machine for the producers. Made on a budget of 100 crores, the movie will be in around 200 crores profit before release.

Talking about the box-office performance, Tubelight is a sure shot blockbuster before release. It will easily cross 200 crores in India. If accepted by the audience, then sky is the limit for this Salman Khan film. It could emerge as the highest grossing movie of Bollywood beating Dangal (388 crores).
