Official: Tubelight 1st Sunday Collection, First Weekend Box Office Report

Tubelight 1st Sunday Collection: Salman Khan’s latest Eid release Tubelight hasn’t been able to perform as per expectations. After an average opening day with the collection of 21.15 crores, the movie remained flat on Saturday. Tubelight earned 21.17 crores on its second day to take its total collection to 42.32 crores. Much to the happiness of Salman fans, the movie witnessed good growth on its third day. Here’s a look at the third day, first weekend box office report of the movie. Tubelight 1st Sunday Collection: Official Numbers
Tubelight had a better start in the morning shows on Sunday. The movie recorded 45% occupancy in the morning shows, a growth of 10% compared to Friday and Saturday. The movie has shown an inconsistent trend across various circuits.

In some centres, the noon shows were cancelled because of low occupancy, while in Delhi and NCR, the movie recorded 60% to 70% occupancy. The Mumbai and Gujarat circuits witnessed good growth, especially in the night shows. Overall, the movie recorded 55% to 60% occupancy on Sunday which is a decent number. Tubelight First Weekend Collection: Highest Of 2017
With the collection of 22.45 crores, the first weekend collection of Tubelight stands at 64.77 crores. This is a good number when compared with the opening weekend numbers of other films of 2017. In fact, Tubelight has beaten Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees to become the highest opening weekend grosser of 2017. Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees earned 59.83 crores in its first weekend.

While the expectations were huge, a decent growth on Sunday is a positive sign for the movie. Now, the biggest question is, how much the movie will grow on Monday and Tuesday? Salman’s fans would be hoping for big numbers. The movie should earn 30+ crores on Monday to post a respectable lifetime total. Here’s a day-wise report on Tubelight first weekend collection.
