Tubelight 12th Day Collection: Salman Khan’s Tubelight beats lifetime collection of Jolly LLB 2 and Badrinath Ki Dulhania to become the second highest grosser of 2017.

Despite poor performance at the domestic box office, Salman Khan’s Eid release Tubelight has become the second highest grossing Bollywood movie of 2017. On its 12th day, Tubelight earned around 1.1 crores to take it total collection to 117.76 crores. With the collection of 117.76 crores, Tubelight is now the second highest Bollywood grosser of the year. It has beaten the lifetime collection of Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 (117 crores) and Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer Badrinath Ki Dulhania (116 crores). Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees remained the top Bollywood grosser of 2017 with the lifetime collection of 138 crores.

With the collection of 117.76 crores, Tubelight is now the second highest Bollywood grosser of the year. After a decent opening weekend with the collection of 106.86 crores, Tubelight falls flat in the second week despite no competition from other releases. The movie earned 8.5 crores in the second weekend. On its second Monday, the movie witnessed huge drop and earned only 1.3 crores. The worldwide collection of the movie has grossed 200 crores mark. Tubelight is the second highest worldwide grosser of 2017 after Raees. The worldwide collection of Raees is around 280 crores which will be impossible for Tubelight to achieve now.
