February was a busy month for entertainment lovers as more than 100 good titles debuted on various OTT platforms. March is going to be a less busy month compared to February. However, some most-awaited titles will debut this month. Here’s a look at new movies and shows releasing on OTT in the first week of March 2022.
Rudra: The Edge of Darkness (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on March 4)
The psychological crime thriller is a remake of the British series Luther. Produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios India, the crime thriller drama stars Ajay Devgn, Raashi Khanna, Esha Deol, Atul Kulkarni, Ashwini Kalsekar, Tarun Gahlot, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Satyadeep Misra. It is set to release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, and Bengali.
Set in Mumbai, Rudra: The Edge of Darkness is a thriller that scrabbles into the mentality of highly intelligent criminals and the investigator who hunts them. The series portrays the heavy personal cost at which DCP Rudra Veer Singh (Ajay Devgn) pursues criminals and killers and the unlikely friendship that he forms with Aliyah (Rashi Khanna), a genius sociopath.
Undekhi Season 2 (Streaming on Sony LIV on March 4)
The second season of Sony LIV’s popular crime thriller will premiere on March 4, 2022. The second season of the series takes the story forward as Atwals faces new challenges with the arrival of Samarth (Nandish Singh Sandhu).
The first season of the series had a dancer killed in a fit of rage at the wedding of the scion of the Atwal family. A cop comes looking for the girl, while a photography crew wants to expose the Atwals for their heinous crime. The Atwals leaves no stone unturned to hide their crime.
Sutliyan (Streaming on Zee5 on March 4)
Zee5 family drama series Sutliyan is a story of an estranged family reuniting for Diwali. As they meet after years, each member must deal with their unresolved conflicts. Will they be able to let go of the past and rediscover their bond?
This family drama series stars Ayesha Raza Mishra, Plabita Borthakur, Shiv Pandit and Vivaan Shah in pivotal roles.
Jugaadistan (Streaming on Lionsgate Play on March 4)
Jugaadistan is a Lionsgate Play Original series that stars social media superstars like Sumeet Vyas, Arjun Mathur, Parambrata Chatterjee, Ahsaas Channa and more. The series portrays the dark side of college life involving politics and conflicts among a group of students.
Veeramae Vaagai Soodum (Streaming on Zee5 on March 4)
The Tamil action-thriller starring Vishal in the lead role debuted in theatres on Feb 12, 2022. Now, it is making its digital debut on Zee5. The movie also stars Baburaj, Dimple Hayathi, Raveena Ravi, Yogi Babu and Akilan.
