1.) Raj Kapoor – Nargis – Krishna Kapoor

Raj Kapoor was already married to relative Krishna Kapoor when he met Nargis. Kapoor’s marital status did not stop the actress from being drawn towards him. They acted together in about 16 films, each depicting the real life passion. However, Kapoor’s decision of not separating from his wife left the actress heart-broken. She later found solace in the arms of a younger Sunil Dutt whom she fell for after he saved her life on the sets of Mother India.

2.)  Guru Dutt – Waheeda Rahman – Geeta Roy

Things were fine between the Ace director, actor and producer Guru Dutt and singer Geeta Roy till Waheed Rehman became a muse of Guru Dutt. Some blame it on the growing proximity between Waheeda and Guru Dutt while some blame Geeta Roy’s suspicious nature to be a reason that made both Guru and Geeta heavy drinkers and succumbed them to early deaths.

3.)Dharmendra – Hema Malini – Prakash Kaur

While Dharmendra was voted one the most handsome men in the world and was called He-Man Hema Malini was the Dream Girl. Cupid struck the two when they met on the sets of Tum Haseen Main Jawan (1970). Hema Malini chose an already married Garam Dharam(father of four from his first marriage) over established actors Sanjeev Kumar and Jeetendra. Such was the bond that Dharmendra even converted into Islam to marry Hema when his wife Prakash Kaur refused to give him divorce.

4.) Sanjay Khan – Zeenat Aman – Zarine Khan

The original sex symbol Zeenat Aman charmed a lot of her contemporary actors and the handsome Sanjay Khan was no exception. The couple got married and lived together. Rumors suggest that when Sanjay’s wife Zarine Khan found out about the two, both she and Sanjay beat up Zeenat to an extent that her eyes were damaged permanently. Zeenat later married actor Mazhar Khan.

Calling it the King of All Love Triangles will not be an understatement. The Angry Young Man was already married to our cute Mili in 1973. But that did not stop love to blossom between the Superstar of the Millennium and the Evergreen Rekha. Though no one ever agreed anything about this controversy but the fact that Rekha is still unwed and applies Sindoor in almost all her public appearances speaks more than what is called for. 6.)  Shatrughan Sinha – Reena Roy – Poonam Sinha

Shotgun Sinha was already married to Miss India Poonam Sinha when Reena Roy entered his life. They were a successful on screen life couple and soon developed a close bond off-screen. Reena wanted to marry Sinha but his refusal left her with no option but to move on.

Successful actor and filmmaker Kamal Hassan left his classical dancer wife Vani Ganpati for her inability to give him a child for Sarika. Sarika was at the peak of her career when she became an unwed mother and later married Hassan. However she got the same in return when Hassan left her to get married to an even younger actress. Sarika lost a lot in this deceit, her daughters, her mental state. She became suicidal and it took her a while to come out of depression.
