Top 10 opening day grossers Bollywood 2014 : Happy New Year beats Singham Returns to become the top opening day grosser of 2014. Happy New Year raked in 45 crores on its opening day.

Happy New Year raked in 44.97 crores to become the highest opening day grosser of 2014. Happy New Year is followed by Singham Returns with opening day Box Office collection of 32.09 crores. Happy New Year came like a thunder at Box Office and shatters all Box Office records. Singham Returns is followed by Hrithik Roshan’s action thriller Bang Bang whose opening day collection is 27.54 crores. Salman Khan’s Kick is the fifth highest opener of 2014 with collection of 26.4 crores. Kick was recently toppled to fifth position by PK which collected 26.63 crores on its opening day.

At sixth position, we have Salman Khan’s Jai Ho with opening day Box Office collection of 17.58 crores. Jai Ho is followed by the biggest surprise of the year Ek Villain which collected 16.72 crores on its opening day. It’s pathetic to see movies like Humshakals getting a decent start at Box Office. Humshakals is at ninth position with opening day figures of 12.5 crores.
