Toilet Ek Prem Katha Worldwide Collection: Inches Closer To 200 Crores

After a superb opening week with the collection of 96.05 crores, Akshay Kumar’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha witnessed a big drop and earned only 4 crores on its second Friday. However, the movie has now witnessed a huge jump on its second Saturday. As per the reports coming, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha 9th day collection is in the range of 6 to 6.5 crores. With the collection of 106 crores, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha has now become Akshay Kumar’s 8th highest grossing movie. It has beaten the lifetime collection of Baby, ‘Singh Is Bliing’, Brothers and ‘Gabbar Is Back’.

Akshay Kumar continues his prime form at the domestic box office. Toilet: Ek Katha is his fifth consecutive 100 crore film in a span 20months. It is Akshay Kumar’s 8th movie to enter 100 crore club. He has the second most 100 crore movies to his name. Salman Khan is at the top with eleven 100 crore movies to his name. Huge growth on the second Saturday has once again given a good chance to the film. It has a chance to emerge as highest grossing movie of Akshay Kumar by beating the lifetime collection of Rowdy Rathore (134 crores).

Talking about films of 2017, TEPK is seventh 100 crore film of 2017. It is Akshay Kumar’s second 100 crore film of this year. Currently, the sixth highest grosser of 2017, TEPK still needs 30+ crores to beat the lifetime collection of Raees (138 crores) and emerge as the highest grossing film of the year.
