Thugs of Hindostan’s Shoot To Start In March, It’s A Period Film : Aamir Khan

At the trailer launch of his next film Secret Superstar, Aamir Khan gets candid about his upcoming projects and a new look. The actor confirmed that his current bearded look is a part of his preparation for his next Thugs of Hindostan.

Aamir said that his next with Amitabh Bachchan is a period film. He said that since people did not shave in those days, that is why he is growing the beard. His final look for the film will be finalized by February 2017.

Aamir looked excited sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan as he said, “I am thrilled that I am working with Mr Bachchan in Thugs of Hindostan. I have always wanted to work with him. It was my dream.”

When asked about the commencement of the project, he said, “We shall start shooting in March 2017.”

Thugs of Hindostan will be directed by Dhoom 3 and Tashan director Vijay Krishna Acharya. Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan will be sharing screen space for the first time. The female lead of the movie is yet to be announced but there are reports that Vaani Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are in consideration. Produced by Yash Raj films, Thugs of Hindostan is slated to release on Diwali 2018.

On the work front, Aamir Khan is currently busy with the promotion of Dangal which is slated for release on 23 Dec 2016. Amitabh is busy with the shooting of Sarkar 3 slated for release in March 2017.
