Marvel’s latest release ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ had a pretty good opening weekend at the Indian box office. Released on July 7, a day before its US release, the fourth movie of the Thor franchise collected Rs 18.6 Crore Crore. It saw a drop of around 35% on Friday as numbers drop to Rs 12 Crore.

However, it is once again proved that Marvel movies are word-pf-mouth proof in India. Despite mixed reviews and not-so-good reports, the Marvel biggie recorded good growth in numbers on the last two days of its extended opening weekend.

On Saturday, Thor: Love And Thunder collected around Rs 17.5 Crore on Sunday, a growth of 40% compared to Friday. Now, as per the latest reports, the movie recorded a huge Sunday at the Indian box office. Early reports suggest that Thor 4 has raked in around Rs 19 Crore on Sunday to end its opening weekend on a terrific note.

Thor: Love And Thunder First Weekend Collection in India

With around Rs 19 Crore coming on Sunday, the total collection of Thor: Love and Thunder after the first weekend stands at Rs 65+ Crore. One can expect Thor 4 to cross Rs 100 Crore in its lifetime. In its home country, Thor: Love And Thunder recorded the third-highest opening of 2022 with $143 million. With $159 million coming from the international market, Thor: Love and Thunder’s global opening weekend stands at $302 million.
