The fourth season of Prime Video’s popular drama series ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ premieres on Feb 18, 2022. The streaming giant recently announced a major change in its release schedule. Unlike the previous three seasons, Season 4 episodes will release on a weekly basis instead of the entire season dropping at once.
There are a total of 8 episodes in the fourth season. Two new episodes will drop on Prime Video every Friday beginning the premiere on Feb 18, 2022. This is quite an exciting update for Mrs. Maisel fans as they have been waiting for the new season to drop for more than two years. Moreover, a release spread over four weeks would give ample time to fans to rewatch the new episodes. Prime Video would be hoping for big viewership numbers every week.

Set in the 1950s, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel follows Miriam “Midge” Maisel, a housewife in New York City, who discovers her knack for stand-up comedy and pursues a career in it.
The previous seasons saw Midge divorce from her husband of four years, Joel (Michael Zegen), and endeavour to pursue a career as a comic artist. Alex Borstein stars as Susie Myerson, her manager and an employee of The Gaslight Cafe. It also stars Marin Hinkle, Tony Shalhoub, Kevin Pollak, Caroline Aaron, and Jane Lynch.
The third season premiered way back in Dec 2019. In the Season 3 finale, we saw Midge being fired from Shy Baldwin’s tour for being too frank about his sexuality during her act. The next season will see how she bounce back and starts working on her own terms.
Since its debut on March 17, 2017, the show quickly became one of the popular series on the service. Over the years, it garnered huge applause from fans and critics around the world. The series has won several prestigious awards including a total of 20 Emmys to date.
