The Kissing Booth 3: Everything We Know So Far About Netflix's Film
The Kissing Booth 3

The Kissing Booth 3: From release date, plot to cast, here’s everything we know about the last film of the rom-com trilogy.

  • The Kissing Booth 3 was announced only a couple days after the sequel was released on July 24, 2020.
  • The cast has already filmed the third movie along with ‘The Kissing Booth 2’ on location in South Africa.

The Kissing Booth is an American teen romantic comedy movie written and directed by Vince Marcello. It follows the journey of a teenager whose budding romance with a high school senior puts her lifelong friendship in trouble. The first instalment was released on Netflix on May 11, 2018. It was well-received by the audience and follows it up with a sequel, The Kissing Booth 2, released on July 24, 2020.

This sequel also received applause from the viewers. The Kissing Booth went on to become one of the most-watched movies on Netflix. As if two Kissing Booth movies were not enough, Netflix is coming up with one last movie on Elle’s romantic dilemmas. The Kissing Booth 3 was announced only a couple days after the sequel was released.

Interestingly, the cast filmed both movies (Part 2 and 3) on location in South Africa. As the fans are waiting for The Kissing Booth 3, here is everything we know about it:

The Kissing Booth 3: Expected Plot

In The Kissing Booth 2, we saw Elle being in a dilemma to either go to Harvard to be with her sweetheart Noah or go to Berkeley to fulfill her lifelong friendship promise with best friend Lee. Elle also misunderstood Noah and his bond with Chloe. With the ongoing differences between Lee and Rachel, Elle resolved the conflict with Rachel and got them both together. There was also a new addition Marco towards whom Elle had started developing romantic feelings as he had helped her get money to go to Harvard. Although Elle rejected Marco for Noah, the sequel ended with no clarity about the future of the main protagonist Elle.

The upcoming sequel is expected to revolve around Elle’s major decision of choosing her college. Here’s a video giving a good idea that Elle’s dilemma will be the main focus in the third movie.

As they are very close as family, it appears as a difficult decision to choose a university here as she is scared to tell either of them. Thus fans have to wait to see her decision on choosing Harvard to be with Noah or Berkeley to fulfill her promise with Lee. It is possible for the supporting character of Chloe to return if Elle chooses to go to Harvard. There are also some potential storylines about Marco as he did not accept Elle’s rejection. So there could be a possibility that he would appear in the next sequel as well to cast his magic.

A few days ago, Beth Reekles revealed the new poster for The Kissing Booth 3 on her Twitter account. The poster shows Elle, Noah, and Lee smiling, implying a happy ending.
