After registering the second highest opening of 2016, The Jungle Book remained strong in the second week. The movie collected 8.02 crores and 8.51 crores on Friday and Saturday respectively to take the total collection to 91.16 crores. The Jungle is all set to become the second Hollywood movie after Furious 7 to cross 100 crores at the Indian Box Office.

The Box Office success of TJB becomes more important as it is competing with the biggest Bollywood release of the year, Shahrukh Khan’s Fan, which was released on Friday on around 3500 screens. Considering the current pace, we can expect The Jungle Book to beat Airlift to become the top grosser of 2016.
