What to expect from the upcoming episodes of The Flash Season 8?

Showrunner Erik Wallace dropped some major details about the show. Speaking to Den of Geek, he revealed that The Flash Season 8 will be split into three parts. Armageddon is the first part, and the other two will each feature a different villain.

Erik says that one of the stories is leftover from a previous season. “We had an extra one sitting around that we didn’t get to,” Wallace told the outlet. “What’s really exciting is we turned lemons into lemonade, and it turns out it was the best thing for this particular story, which is going to be the first story up after ‘Armageddon.’ Obviously no spoilers, but it has a lot more resonance because the story will be happening after the events of’ Armageddon’ and will really affect Team Flash forever.”

In another interview with TVLine, he said, “Iris’ time sickness gets dealt with after ‘Armageddon,’. “Solving Iris’ time sickness is a huge, huge part of the entire season, and it will take all season to solve that. And that will have big ramifications for Barry and Iris’s relationship and marriage.”

In the last episode of Armageddon crossover, Berry strips Thawane of his power. Now that the “Armageddon” crossover is done, the fans are excited to see who would be the main villain in the upcoming episodes.

A new promo released on Jan 26 reveals the return of Bart, Nora and Eddie. Eddie Thawne is seen for the first time on the show since season 3. Eddie died during the show’s first season.

The previous seven instalments are streaming on Netflix US. The first five episodes of Season 8 are streaming on The CW website and app. The Flash Season 8 will premiere on Netflix US 8 days after its conclusion on The CW network.
