The Family Man season 2 isn’t cancelled, will come with full festivities, says Manoj Bajpayee.
The fans have been waiting for the second season of The Family Man 2 since the first season premiered on Amazon Prime Video. The first season ended with a squeaker and fans are super excited to know what happens next in the show. The first season premiered in Sep 2019 and the second season was supposed to release in 2020 but got delayed due to the pandemic. Finally, it was announced to release on Feb 12, 2021, but again got delayed.
Last month series directors Raj and DK confirmed that the show will be releasing in Summer. However, recently rumours started populating that after the Tandav controversy and new OTT guidelines by the government, The Family Man season 2 has been cancelled. These reports came as a big shocker for the fans.
Well, there is no need to worry as the lead actor Manoj Bajpayee has denied these reports. Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, the actor confirmed that the second season will release in the peak of summer. He also said that Amazon is currently working on the release date and marketing strategy.
Manoj said, “We are very happy with the second season, so much happy that we as a team are restless for Amazon to give the date. The official announcement about the release date will be made soon.”
The first season of The Family Man received superb reviews. It was a big success with an IMDb rating of 8.5. The Family Man season 2 is among the most awaited Hindi web shows of 2021.
