The Conjuring 3 is a sequel to The Conjuring (2013) and The Conjuring 2 (2016), and the eighth instalment in the Conjuring Universe.

The eighth chapter in the Conjuring Universe, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is all set for its release in theatres and HBO Max. the film serves as a sequel to The Conjuring (2013) and The Conjuring 2 (2016). We will see the two paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren, back on screens to solve the most mysterious case of their life.

James Wan is the creator of The Conjuring series and tons of other horror films. His films have never been below expectations. Implanting different supernatural aspects in his movies, he has grown into one of the finest producers in our Hollywood industry. However, James Wan refused to direct The Conjuring 3 merely because of his schedule for other projects. The film came in the direction of Michael Chaves, who previously also directed The Curse of La Llorona. As The Conjuring 3 has finally made its way to the theatres, let’s dig deeper and know more about it.

The storyline/plot of The Conjuring 3

As you know, The Conjuring series eternally depicts actual events. This time witness the perfect mixture of horror, murder, thrill, and unknown evil that stunned everyone. “One of the most sensational cases from their files” quoted Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema. James Wan never attempts to keep the usual phases of a horror film in front of us. Instead, he evermore keeps everything unique.

The film’s plot follows a young boy who claims to be in demonic possession after murdering Bruno Sauls. That boy, Arne Cheyenne Johnson, is brought to a trial and grabs the attention of Ed and Lorraine Warren. They both choose to investigate the matter to its very perplexity and prove the boy innocent if he is. We have to see next is how they solve the case and survive the horror game.

The Conjuring 3 Trailer

It was April 22, 2021, when the first trailer of the film was finally released. Thrilling all the 8 Million people who watched it, it starts with a boy rambling on the road with his hands drenched with blood. The boy is brought to trial after a police officer spotted him. “The court accepts the existence of God every time a witness swears to tell the truth. I think it’s about time they accept the existence of the devil,” commented Ed Warren in the trailer.

Further, the trailer revealed how Lorraine Warren, using her supernatural power to see devils, perceives a demonic essence in the forest. We also see a small boy, David Glatzel, on a waterbed and inside it, a devil who later snatches his hand. The trailer ended with Lorraine standing at the edge of a cliff until a devil pulls her leg. The Conjuring 3 Release Date

The production was finalized around October 2019. The earlier scheduled release date was September 11, 2020. However, due to the pandemic, the release date delayed. Now, it’s all set for a theatrical release on June 4, 2021. The Conjuring 3 is simultaneously heading to streaming service, HBO Max. It arrived on HBO Max on June 4, streaming for 31 days as a part of WarnerBro’s ongoing 2021 movie release strategy.

In the UK, The Conjuring 3 was released in cinemas on May 26, 2021. In Australia, the horror film made its debut on Jun 3, 2021.
